Musical theater for young adventurers
The classic fairy tale Puss in Boots is given new life as a musical theatre production. Mezzo-soprano and actress Roza Herwig, narrator Sander Borst, and pianist Julius Backer take you on a journey through castles, mischief, and clever schemes. The music runs like a common thread through the story and fits every twist. From Mozart to Gershwin: classical sounds and musical surprises alternate.
Experienced musicians on stage
Roza Herwig has performed at the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, and the Barbican Centre in London, among others. Sander Borst is a bassoonist with the Royal Military Fund 'Johan Willem Friso' and is active as a presenter and music theatre maker. Julius Backer studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and is continuing his education at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne.
