The Flower Art Museum focuses on the representation of flowers, plants and nature in contemporary art. Since July 2018, the museum has been located in the former water cellar of Aalsmeer, right opposite the monumental water tower on the Westeinderplassen. With an interior space of 1,000 square meters and a spacious sculpture garden on the roof, there is a lot to see.

Few themes in art, covering such a wide range, inspire many artists as the flower . Symbol of beauty and transience, of life and death, of love and freedom. Flowers and plants are a recurring subject in art. That deserves a special place and that place is there in Aalsmeer.
The cradle of Dutch floriculture
The Flower Art Museum is the first museum in the world devoted entirely to art inspired by flowers and plants. Every quarter there are new exhibitions with work by top contemporary artists from the Netherlands and abroad.
