The cafe has been around since 1928 and is old brown with little fuss. No hip drinks, loud music and sleek interior here. You just drink a beer, talk and discuss in normal pitch (there is no music) and sit on a worn stool. And although well-known Dutch people sometimes come here; they are not treated differently from others.
