Violinist Quinten van Brummen is 16 years old and is one of the striking young string players of the moment. He has won prizes at the Dutch Violin Competition, the Princess Christina Competition, and Young Musicians Tallinn, among others, and has appeared on Podium Witteman , Podium Klassiek , and the television program Ranking The Talent .

Quinten performs a varied program of solo pieces and compositions together with organist Evan Bogerd. That combination of violin and organ in the acoustics of the Oude Westerkerk gives the concert a special character.
