Jazz, neo-soul and alternative R&B
Hatoon combines jazz, neo-soul, and alternative R&B into a unique sound. Her warm, layered voice takes center stage, complemented by intuitive lyrics. The music moves between genres and bears a personal stamp: that of a young woman seeking her place as an outsider and observer.
From background to foreground
After a preparatory jazz course, Hatoon studied at the Herman Brood Academy. She worked as a backing vocalist with various Dutch artists. Now, the 22-year-old is ready to tell her own story, with a band that fully supports her sound.
The musicians on the stage
Hatoon performs with Maria García (guitar), Francisco Garrido (piano), Aniol Torrents (double bass), and Ludvig Søndergaard (drums). Together, they form an ensemble that gives space to improvisation and emotion.
