On the grounds you will find a café-restaurant, a sun terrace on the IJ, three theater and concert halls, exhibition spaces, a hip-hop school and a children's art hall. Cultural activities take place throughout the year in the idyllic garden and in the completely renovated Public Building, which can be seen from Central Station.

Diverse programming

The Tolhuistuin is a dynamic place for diverse artistic disciplines with a diverse programming, from mainstream to avant-garde. Every week Paradiso organizes various parties and other activities and hip-hop school Solid Ground Movement teaches and shows in DJs, graffiti and dance.

You will find the Tolhuistuin a hundred meters from the Buiksloterwegveer on the former Shell site on the IJ.
