The atmosphere is intimate, yet the space is monumental. The combination of music and architecture makes this event unique within the ADE program.
Hotel Arena: a building with history
The event takes place at Hotel Arena, on the edge of Amsterdam's city center, accessible via Oosterpark. The building dates back to 1888 and originally served as a Catholic orphanage. It was later transformed into a four-star hotel. Original details such as the cast-iron staircase and the restored chapel have been preserved.
