The largest science museum in the Netherlands has a range of multifunctional rooms that can accommodate groups of 10 to 2000 people. Host a meeting in the boardroom, organise drinks on the roof with the best view over Amsterdam or rent out the entire museum after closing time.
Make sure to add some science and technology to your event. Welcome your guests with a mysterious smoking cocktail or insert an exciting break in your program in the form of a technological challenge or workshop.
Until spring 2025, NEMO is working on a new roof. As a result, the roof is temporarily inaccessible. The Rooftop Square, the Panorama Room and the Conservatory can be booked again from spring 2025.
Sustainability
With a location close to Amsterdam Central Station, NEMO is easily accessible by public transport. In addition, NEMO is making its operations increasingly sustainable. For example, the museum prefers to work with local suppliers, and it is possible to opt for an entirely organic catering offer.
Accessibility
NEMO is designed to provide a fun and interesting day for everyone. For example, NEMO is accessible to wheelchairs, walkers and mobility scooters, and the museum has 1 wheelchair to borrow by reservation. The museum is also equipped with lifts to all floors.
All floors are equipped with adapted toilets (except for the third floor). The toilets have a free space of at least 80 cm on one side and have grab rails and adapted sinks.
Registered guide dogs are welcome in NEMO and for visitors with a visual impairment there is the navigation app eZwayZ. eZwayZ is an additional aid to navigate through the building.
